Killing Hour

by Andrew Gross

He heard voices in his head, in between the crashing of waves. Then he was gone — a drop in the ocean. A fisherman found his broken body on the rocks below.

A phone call shatters Dr. Jay Handler’s romantic anniversary dinner. ‘Something terrible has happened, Jay. Evan is dead.’ The thought of his troubled nephew, helpless and doomed, will haunt Jay forever. Evan never got the help he needed from the mental institutions he passed through. Furious with the system and convinced his nephew would never commit suicide, Jay is determined to find out what’s behind the tragedy. The things we do for family.

Looking for answers which lie in his brother’s past, Jay’s findings become more menacing with every step. And his love for his family will lead him to the heart of a cult of carnage ravaging its way through the country!
