As Hugh states in this book’s introduction…..
‘he is offering up a set of new recipes that are both healthy and well balanced, straightforward to put together, but always unfailingly, delicious’
Hugh has also made a point of excluding the popular ingredients wheat & milk from the recipes in this book.
This book is fantastic and there are SO many recipes I want to try, that I find it hard to single out the MUST MAKES.
But a few that have made it onto the list are, the Spinachy Wraps on Page 78, the Chickpea Soup on Page 114 and being the sweet tooth I am, the St Clements Polenta Cake with Blueberries on page 372 and the Chocolate Bean Cake on Page 368.
This is cookbook is just bursting with goodness, and I can’t wait to start creating some of the yummy recipes hidden amongst its 400+ pages. (KH)
I have happily wandered off with this book, but promise to return it shortly and you can reserve it here: River Cottage – Light and Easy by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall
